Get on Board Day kicked off this year at the Honors Program table with great turn out and some excellent Honors Board and Honors Program volunteers. The tent was set up, and the shades were put on, with faculty coming out to help. In fact, Mrs. Mary Ellen Stegall, the Honors Psychology Instructor and Assistant Director the program volunteered at the table and introduced incoming students to Honors. Students from across the U.S. and the world come to UL Lafayette to get a premiere education in one of the most affordable universities in the U.S. What they need to know is that we also have some of the greatest programs and organizations for student involvement in the state, and Honors is one of these. Get On Board Day helps introduce new students to the fantastic opportunities available on our campus to learn leadership, responsibility, and camaraderie, and Honors was out representing.
