The Eugene Scassa Mock Organization of American States (ESMOAS) is comprised of Honors students representing as diplomats a Central or Southern American country in a mock version of the Organization of American States. The students are taught and mentored in a class every semester by Dr. Julia Frederick, our Honors Program Director. The Vermillion wrote an article explaining the regional competition they attend with other universities and colleges, the history of the group, and the current experiences of being in ESMOAS. Our Honors students should know that we provide as a program other excellent opportunities for growth and experience in addition to scholarships. ESMOAS is one of these excellent opportunities. If you would like to know more about how to participate, or what ESMOAS is, please visit here. Also, make sure to check out the The Vermillion's link below.
