2011 Fall Invitational
November 1st is the Deadline for Abstracts
and Hotel Registration
The Honors Program at the University of Louisiana Lafayette
is hosting its 4th Fall Invitational on November
11th and 12th, 2011, for undergraduate research in the Sciences,
Behavioral and Social Sciences and Engineering. Please note
that participating students do not have to be part of your
Honors program. All students engaged in undergraduate
research are welcome to register. We believe that the interchange
of ideas among universities and students is important to
the growth of such research. To support these goals we are
inviting undergraduates from eight universities in the state
to present papers and posters of their research. The invitational
will continue to add areas of study as our budget permits.
UL Lafayette’s University Honors Program will pay room
and board for twelve (12) students and one (1) faculty member
from each university except for UL Lafayette. Please note
that participating students do not have to be part of your
Honors
program. All
students
engaged in undergraduate research are welcome to register.
Each student in attendance will be expected to present a paper,
project or a poster. Selection of the students is left up
to the individual university, criteria to be at the discretion
the Dean of the college.
