Welcoming New Honors and Seasoned Students at Fall Mixer 2015

In truly successful fashion, the Events Committee helped to set up an excellent Fall Mixer to welcome new freshmen and familiar sophomore, junior, and senior faces to mingle, meet, eat, and play board games with their fellow students. Multiple disciplines came out to support the fun, the food was great, and the many candidates running for the Honors Board announced their candidacy. Music was provided by Dominic Lloyd to set an enjoyable atmosphere for students, and Sysco provided a fantastic and tasty spread of food.
One of the games that was played was Celebrity Party Guests. The way it works: individuals arrive to the party with a sticker of a celebrity name on their back - during the party clues from other guests help the individual figure out what name is stuck on their back...from John F. Kennedy Jr. to Wiz Khalifa. The well-known academicians also were in attendance: Dr. Julia Frederick, Director of the Honors Program & Professor Mary Ellen Stegall, renowned psychology instructor.
Thanks to Eden Abraham, Committee Chair and all of the volunteers that helped create the event.
