Yearbook 1999

This was an important year for the USL Honors Program. For one, USL became UL Lafayette. Secondly, the Honors Program became one of the most recognized programs on campus. And most importantly, The University Honors Program earned its own building, including a full remodel of Judice Hall. It was an exciting time for the students and provided a great opportunity to appear in the L'Acadien Yearbook and promote the program as a way to spotlight the wonderful support it provided all these years for the students.

Seminar in the Forum

Below is a picture of Honors students in Seminar, circa 1999, in the Student Union Forum. The original square shape and set of 3 stair-step sitting areas provided an excellent round environment in which to debate and discuss. The forum no longer exists today.
